Simply Accounting Connection Manager v1.0.0006

This release has been updated to be compatible with the Windows 7 64-bit operating system.

The Simply Accounting Connection Manager replaces the need for the Simply Accounting 2008 Export Utility and allows you to import Simply Accounting 2008/2009/2010 files directly into Working Papers. If you have Simply Accounting 2008/2009/2010 installed, you do not need to install this utility.

To install this update, follow these steps:

1. Close all other applications you have open except your browser.
2. Beside the Simply Accounting Connection Manager, click Download Now.
3. When your browser asks what you want to do with the file, select Save File.
4. Specify the directory for the file. Click Save.
5. Run CaseWareSimplyConnectionManager.exe. Follow the instructions in the InstallShield Wizard.
6. The Simply Accounting Connection Manager will be installed to the following directory: C:\Program Files\winsim\ConnectionManager\SimplyConnectionManager.exe. You will be prompted to restart your computer; select Yes.

Once you have the Simply Accounting Connection Manager installed, please refer to the Working Papers online help topic Simply Accounting for Windows version 2008.

Requirements:

Working Papers version 2009.00.115 or higher;

Working Papers version 2008.00 or higher;

Working Papers version 2006.50.509 or higher.

Note:

• If you are using Working Papers version 2008.00.350 or lower, the online help will still refer to the Simply Accounting Export Utility. Please note that this is no longer required with the Simply Accounting Connection Manager.
• If you intend to install Simply Accounting 2008/2009/2010 at a later time, uninstall the Simply Accounting Connection Manager before installing Simply Accounting 2008/2009/2010.
