Unable To Modify CICA PEM Template Documents
Problem:
When attempting to modify an enhanced CICA PEM template document in CaseView, a password prompt is presented preventing access to Design Mode.
Solution:
This is as intended. The CaseView documents in the Enhanced Templates are very complex and to prevent future problems with the document, Design Mode has been locked.
Instead, all required functionality should be available in the right-click menu in Form Mode. For example, right-click on a procedure to edit or delete. Additionally, the menu structure at the top of the document (separate from the CaseView menus) allow for additional required functionality.
If a required function is not available in either the right-click menu or menu structure, contact CaseWare Support. They will either provide guidance as to how the functionality can be achieved or forward the request to the development team to review.
