Extra space above the title in Financials reports when printing

Problem:

I have updated to Financials 8.50 and the line above title in my Reports has a space when printing or viewing in print preview. Due to an enhancement where all headers now appears as "Printing" the style attribute Top of Page Before was modified.

Solution:

In the Master template:

  1. Open the Style Sheet document.
  2. Select Bookmarks | Assurance Reports.
  3. For both styles RP Heading and RP Heading2, right-click on the styles, select Modify this style for Assurance report.
  4. In the Style dialog, select Format, change the Spacing setting for Top of Page Before to 0.00 for no space, or any desired spacing between the heading and title.
  5. Open the Financials statements and reload the Firm style sheet.

In the Engagement:

Contact CaseWare Technical Support to acquire a fix that can be run on engagement files to automatically set the Spacing for top of Page Before to 0.00. Please include in the subject line your ClientID and "Financials - Top of Page Before in Reports".
