Connector installation
Problem:
When using an operating system that does not support long file names, I receive an error when installing Connector. Why is that and what can I do?
Solution:
The default install directory for Connector is named "Connector", however, this folder name is longer than 8 characters and may not be supported by any operating system that does not support long file names in the target path. If this error happens during the install, try the install a second time, but when prompted for an install directory, edit the path to install to a directory called "Connect" instead of "Connector". As long as the rest of the path is short, Connector will register properly.
