Workflow is also on the agenda of CaseWare International. The current version of CaseWare Time is Version 2006. Version 2007 is currently in beta testing and is expected to launch this fall. However, major development has been under way with a SQL version of Time planned release in 2008.
"We are looking more at the firm management," says Lynda Ward, product manager of CaseWare Time. "Partners want to see the firm’s financial data in one area."
Also with the SQL version, CaseWare will launch a Web-based timesheet application. Users will have the option of running it on their firm’s server or remotely.
